Jet Cool and fast heating: speeding up an LG air conditioner's cooling or heating

A boost for the hottest days

The Jet Cool button triggers accelerated cooling: the fan runs at its highest speed for 30 minutes to quickly bring the room down to 18°C. A matching function exists for heating on reversible models that offer it — the same full-speed fan for 30 minutes, this time to reach 30°C faster in winter.

Turning it on and off

Just press the Jet Cool button to start the mode. To switch back to regular high-speed fan operation, you can press the same button again, or the fan-speed selector, or the temperature button.

Limits to know about

This mode can't be turned on at the same time as Air Circulation or auto swing-over mode. On Cool-only models, it also won't run while heating is active. Each press of the Jet Cool/Dehumidify button also cycles through modes in a specific order — in Cool: Jet Cool → dehumidify → Cool; in Heat: Jet Heat → Heat.
