A tip-over risk taken very seriously

A poorly secured TV can tip over if pulled, pushed, or climbed on — a risk of serious or even fatal injury, particularly for children. The manufacturer recommends using only furniture, stands, or mounting systems capable of supporting the device's weight, making sure it never overhangs the edge of the supporting furniture, and teaching children about the danger of climbing to reach the TV or its remote.

Wall mounting — not something to take lightly

If the TV isn't mounted correctly, it can slide or fall, causing serious injury. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions exactly, use a VESA-compatible mounting kit, tighten all four provided screws, and never install the kit while the TV is switched on, due to the risk of electric shock. On models 82 inches and larger, installation should be done by at least four people.

A simple device to reinforce safety

An anti-tip system connects, using a sturdy strap, a bracket fixed to the wall to a bracket fixed to the back of the TV, making sure the wall anchor point sits at the same height as or lower than the TV's bracket — to prevent any forward tip-over.

What you should never do

Never place the TV on cloth or other material positioned between it and the supporting furniture, never place anything that might tempt a child to climb (toys, the remote) on top of the furniture or the TV itself, and always route cables so no one can trip over them or accidentally pull them.
