Always unplug before cleaning

Always unplug the power cord from the wall outlet before any cleaning, then wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth.

Products to absolutely avoid

Wax, benzene, alcohol, thinners, insecticides, air fresheners, lubricants, or detergents can all damage the TV's appearance or erase the printing on the device. None of these products should ever come into contact with the screen or the casing.

Protecting the screen from scratches

The exterior and screen can get scratched during cleaning: wipe carefully, always using a soft cloth, to avoid this risk. Never spray water or any other liquid directly onto the device — liquid that gets inside can cause a malfunction, fire, or electric shock.

A point to watch after wet cleaning

If steam comes into contact with the device's surface or gets inside, it can cause stains or a malfunction — a liquid air freshener or any fumigant containing chemicals should never be used near the TV.
