The fingerprint reader sits on the touchpad, not next to it
Unlike many laptops where the fingerprint sensor is a separate button, here you swipe a finger across the upper-left corner of the touchpad to sign in. When registering a fingerprint, it's important to have the sensor recognize every side of the finger, to avoid sign-in failures later on.
The Copilot key, two behaviors depending on the combination
A single press of the Copilot key opens the assistant; combined with the Fn key, it displays a context menu with several user options — a useful distinction to know, rather than hunting for a second shortcut elsewhere on the keyboard. If Copilot isn't available on the device or in the region, the key simply opens a Bing search.
Lights that inform without opening Windows
A caps lock light, a sound-mute light, a separate microphone-mute light, and a dedicated touchpad light bar that can be turned on or off independently — all quick visual cues about the machine's state.
